has left mutantkind an 'Endangered Species' and despite the
best efforts of Marvel's premier geneticists, this will assuredly
be the last generation of Homo Superior.
But miraculously, hope has arrived in the form of a new mutant,
the first since M-Day. Now the fight for survival turns into
a struggle for possession, as various forces seek to claim
this mutant as thier own.
With the fate of mutantkind hanging in the balance, the forces
of Mr. Sinister and the zealous mutant-hating army of the Purifiers
are one step ahead of the X-Men in their desperate chase for
what they believe to be mutantkind's last hope. But will this
mysterious being prove to be the mutant race's blessed savior
or final damnation?
